Franklin Resources [profile] co-founder and chairman Charles Johnson felt the love in San Francisco earlier this week, getting inducted into the Bay Area Business Council’s Hall of Fame.

Johnson was recognized not just for his building of the asset management company, but for his helping to prevent the San Francisco Giants from changing cities two decades ago, the San Francisco Business Times reported. He is the World Series Champion Giant’s largest investor.
