As it turns out, the
SEC enforcement chief job will be filled by two people.
George Canellos and
Andrew Ceresney are the new co-directors of enforcement for the regulatory agency,
Reuters reported yesterday.
As
reported yesterday, Ceresney has worked for many years under new SEC chair
Mary Jo White.
Canellos joined the SEC in 2009 to direct the New York office, according to
Reuters.
Canellos and Ceresney replace Robert Khumazi, who
left in January. Canellos had been acting director since then, according to
Reuters reporter Joshua Gallu.
