The Wall Street Journal is worried about money funds.

Andrew Ackerman penned a piece pondering the potential implications of the money market mutual fund regulations just proposed by the SEC. Specifically, he wrote that Fed bank presidents and other regulators fear that the proposed regulations would actually trigger runs on money funds.

The article includes feedback from SEC spokesman John Nester, former Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) chief Sheila Bair and a spokeswoman for the Federal Reserve.
