A man of strong opinions, to put it lightly,
John Bogle is speaking up about proposed rules for money-market mutual funds.
MFWire covered his Morningstar speech Thursday, but other news outlets took note as well.
The
Vanguard [
profile] top dog suggests that such rules are basically failing, asserting that they don't fully protect investors or the financial system as a whole,
Bloomberg reports.
Bogle slammed fund-company executives at the Morningstar Investment Conference on Thursday, stating that money-market fund net-asset values fluctuate and "they don’t want to let the world know."
