It's been a rough couple of months for bonds and emerging markets, and the fundsters whose vehicles invest in those assets. Yet
Barron's is still smiling on just such a mutual fund shop:
Franklin Templeton [
profile] parent
Franklin Resources.
On Saturday the magazine's Jack Hough
profiled the San Mateo, California-based asset manager. And Hough had good news for the Franklin team and others holding shares in the fund shop: he predicted that, after lagging the broader stock market over the past six months, Franklin's shares "could return 20% in the next year."
For fundsters who want to know more, the
Barron's piece outlines a bit of Franklin's history and its current product diversification. See the
full article here.
