Reiss Grows Hartford Funds' Southern Presence

Reported by Tommy Fernandez

The Hartford Funds [profile] has hired two new advisor consultants to support the mutual fund company’s growth in the South.

Shaun McDonald will serve as an advisor consultant in Kansas and Missouri, managing relationships with wirehouse clients and prospects, while Dylan White will serve in the same capacity in South Florida for the non-wirehouse channel.

They will be responsible for driving regional sales efforts and serving as a resource for financial advisors on Hartford Funds’ products and strategies. McDonald reports to Kirt Jones, divisional sales manager for the Central Region, and White reports to Brian Garrette, divisional sales manager for the South Region.

“As advisors continue to seek out reliable investment solutions for their clients, it is a top priority for Hartford Funds to provide experienced support on the ground,” stated Jeff Reiss, head of retail sales for Hartford Funds. “Shaun and Dylan have exceptional track records as go-to resources for advisors in their regions.   McDonald joins Hartford Funds from Neuberger Berman, where he held the position of senior vice president, responsible for managing wire house clients in seven territories.
