Sales are hot in the southwest. Just ask David Kimerling.

State Street has hired him to serve as a vice president, regional consultant for the firm's SPDRs sales team.

Kimerling will sell SPDRs ETFs and related products in Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, parts of Southern Nevada and California.

His target market will be financial advisors in national and regional broker dealers.

For the previous four years, Kimerling was a vice president, business development officer for iShares, selling iShares ETFs and related products to financial advisors across a variety of sales channels, platforms and regions.
