BAM!

SC Chairman Mary Jo White has declared that even the smallest infractions will now lead to full scale enforcement actions, reports InvestmentNews.

White referred to the strategy as "broken windows", harkening back to the zero-tolerance policing strategy implemented during the tenure of New York Mayor Rudy Jiuliani.

The speech also garnered the attention of Bloomberg News.
