Douglas Beck, former managing director and head of product development for DWS [profile] has joined Fidelity [profile], where he will serve as head of Investment Capability Management, according to his Linkedin page.

Beck was hired by DWS, when it was DWS Scudder, in 2006. He had previously served UBS Global Asset Management [profile] and president of the UBS Mutual Fund family.

Fidelity did not respond to requests for comments on the subject.
