To better align mutual fund directors' interests with those of their shareholders, consider paying those directors with mutual fund shares and disclosures of what shares they chose to boot.

That's one of seven requests MarketWatch columnist Chuck Jaffe makes of fundsters in his 2013 Christmas list. His other wish list items include fundsters shuttering or merging away "lousy funds," improving prospectus change disclosures, and comparing PMs' career track records relative to benchmarks.
