Gus Sauter is feeling kind of mellow.
The former CIO of
Vanguard isn't worried about what the markets are going to do in 2014 -- there's no point -- according to an
article in the
WSJ.
In the article, which also quotes investing luminaries such as Sheryl Garrett of
Garrett Planning Network, Larry Zimpleman of
Principal Financial Group, and Rick Ferri of
Portfolio Solutions, Sauter said this: "I'm not worried about the markets in 2014. They may go up or they may go down. If they go up, we make money. If they go down, we can invest new money at lower prices. I can hardly wait for whatever happens."
