Retail mutual fund sales at Pacific Life [profile] now have a new master.

Today Chris van Mierlo, chief marketing officer and senior vice president of sales for Pac Life's retirement solutions division, confirms the promotion of Stuart Holland to the new post of vice president of retail sales. Holland now oversees retail sales of variable annuities, fixed annuities, and 401(k)s, as well as mutual funds.

Holland reports to van Mierlo.

Holland's promotion is part of a broader realignment of sales in the Pac Life retirement solutions division. George Paulik rises to national sales manager for the independent planners channel. Mike Miranne takes over as national sales manager for the financial institutions channel (Paulik's old job). And John White now serves as vice president of sales support, overseeing national accounts and more.

Jack Hunter continues to serve as national sales manager for the regional and wirehouse channel.
