With
new private equity backers, it's safe to say that acquisitions are a possibility for

MFWire sat down with Gemini CEO
Andrew Rogers to talk about the back-office specialist's future.

"It's great having great partners like
TA Associates," Rogers says of the new private equity backers of Gemini's parent,
NorthStar. "We are definitely looking at acquisitions. It has to be the right fit."
Rogers offered several hints as to what that "right fit" might look like for Gemini.
"I would love to extend our footprint to offshore as well as more into the alternative space," Rogers says, adding that he'd also be open to deals with other mutual fund administrators that could bring strong clients, people, or technology to Gemini.
