Albuquerque Business First and the
Albuquerque Journal both report that
Fidelity [
profile] will be hiring 250 more people in the city, where it already has 875 people. The new hires will be at Fidelity's "Mesa del Sol facility" in south Albuquerque, the
Journal reports.
Both papers note that the new hires will be primarily in customer and client service or operations to support its health savings account plan sponsors and its 401(k) defined contribution retirement plan sponsors. The entry level jobs' salaries start in the mid-$30,000 range, plus tuition reimbursement and a host of other benefits.
"We've already begun sourcing the new jobs,"
David Hupper, senior vice president and regional leader for Fidelity, tells the
Journal. "We've known for years New Mexico has a strong workforce, and we're pleased to offer these competitive jobs that come with the opportunity to grow careers."
