Company: WBI Investments

Appointment: Jeff Koskinen, and Michael Magill

On July 25 WBI revealed that Jeff Koskinen and Michael Magill are joining the regional sales teams at WBI Investments. Koskinen, based in Chicago, joins as regional director of the Midwest, and Magill, based in Boca Raton, joins as regional director of Florida.

Prior to WBI Koskinen was regional director at John Hancock Investments and before that worked at Van Kampen Investments. Magill comes from Crossroads Capital and prior to that worked as director of sales at Janus Capital Group.

Company: Northern Trust

Appointment: Shundrawn Thomas, Stephen Potter

On October 1, Stephen Potter, president of Northern Trust Asset Management, will be appointed vice chairman. Shundrawn Thomas, currently head of funds and managed accounts group, will become president.

Company: Sadis & Goldberg LLP

Appointment: Richard Shamos

Sadis & Goldberg LLP added Richard Shamos as a member of the firm's financial services group. Prior to Sadis & Goldberg Shamos was director of international legal at AllianceBernstein and before AB was an associate at Schulte, Roth & Zabel LLP in the investment management area.

Appointment: John Sturiale, Jill Brown, David Master, Jim Cove

On July 20, the Mutual Fund Education Alliance (MFEA) underwent leadership changes to its executive committee and council for distribution, marketing, and product. John Sturiale, head of sales and client relations at Charles Schwab, is the vice president of MFEA's executive committee. Jill Brown, president of Principal Funds Distributor, is chair of MFEA's distribution council. David Master, chief marketing officer at Janus Henderson, is the chair of the MFEA marketing council. Jim Cove, senior VP of investment strategies and management at Natixis, is the chair of the MFEA product council.

Company: Fiduciary Trust International

Appointment: Paulina Mejia

On July 19 Paulina Mejia joined Fiduciary Trust Company International, a subsidiary of Franklin Templeton Investments, as regional managing director, head of its New York office, and trust counsel. Mejia will oversee the private wealth business in the Greater New York region and will also work as a member of Fiduciary Trust's operating committee.

Company: Nationwide Funds Group

Appointment: Keith Robinette, and Andrew Urban

On June 30, Tom Hickey is retiring from Nationwide Funds. Keith Robinette and Andrews Urban will join Chris Graham, chief investment officer, as co-portfolio managers. Robinette and Urban will report to Graham.

Robinette has worked at Nationwide Investments for five years and joined Nationwide Funds as senior director of asset strategies last month.

Urban joined Nationwide Funds last August as senior director of asset strategies. Prior to Nationwide Urban worked for the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System where he led the hedge fund manager selection and due diligence solutions.
