Putnam Investments has hired Heather Arnold from Canada's Alternum Capital as its new director for European equities. She replaces Nick Melhuish who left Putnam this summer and will direct stock pickers managing $2.5 billion in assets.
She was the portfolio manager for Alternum's Global Health Sciences Hedge Fund.
