Bisys has tapped James L. Fox as its new chief financial officer replacing Andrew Corbin. Fox, currently president of Bisys Fund Services, joined the firm in April of this year.

The firm said that Corbin resigned his position to take the CFO's job at another company.

Before joining Bisys, Fox served for two years as president and chief executive officer of First Data's govONE Solutions subsidiary. He had left First Data's Investor Services Group after 12 years in the wake of its sale to PFPC in 1999 to join Gomez, Inc. as its chief financial officer.

He was vice chairman at PFPC Inc. and a member of the board for PFPC Worldwide Inc.
