Earlier this month, the team at the Investment Company Institute (
ICI), based in Washington, D.C.,
released word that they had reconfigured their digital presence with a
new and improved website, while also combining in a sister site.
Lauri Bearce, senior director of content and a leader of this project, tells
MFWire, "ICI launched a new website at the end of April with a refreshed design and improved user experience."
"Our new site is responsive and intuitive," she continues, "featuring an enhanced search function that better enables visitors to navigate and sort through our extensive resources to quickly find what they’re looking for."
Bearce notes the search function allows users to find
research,
policy priorities,
videos, and
blog posts, among other content.
She adds, "Our new website also merged the previous ICI Global site into ICI.org to fully represent the global nature of our industry and work."
"We are excited to have this new platform to showcase the important work ICI undertakes on behalf of its members and the millions of shareholders who use funds to save for important financial goals."
ICI was founded in 1940, initially as the National Committee of Investment Companies. In 1941, the group became known as the National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC), and then it became the Investment Company Institute in 1961.
