At least two firms in the mutual fund business are among the best large businesses for parents to work at in the U.S., according to the folks at a workplace culture specialist.

The team at Great Place to Work has unveiled their 2022 Best Workplaces for Parents lists. One list includes 70 large workplaces (with 1,000 employees or more each), while the other includes 30 small and medium workplaces (with fewer than 1,000 employees each). This year's lists are based on confidential survey responses from more than one million employees (including nearly half a million working parents) from Great Place to Work certified companies. (Certification involves conducting an employee experience survey and filling out a company culture and workforce questionnaire.)

In the asset management business, companies on the 2022 list of the best large workplaces for parents include: Nationwide at 33; and Baird at 57.

According to the Great Place to Work team, companies on the list "set a shining example of how companies can support working parents in a way that fosters trust, purpose and a positive employee experience for all."
