A third law firm has filed a class-action lawsuit against Edward Jones on behalf of shareholders of seven mutual funds, the St. Louis Business Journal reports.
Schiffrin & Barroway, a Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvannia-based law firm has filed the newest suit, alleging that Edward Jones engaged in a "fraudulent scheme" by not disclosing revenue sharing agreements between its brokers and the mutual funds to clients.
On January 23, New York-based
Milberg Weiss Bershad Hynes & Lerach filed a class-action suit and San Diego-based
Stanley, Mandel & Iola filed a similar suit January 26.
