Lobbying Firm to Represent Fund Directors

The Investment Company Institute has retained lobbying firm Clark & Weinstock to represent the concerns of independent mutual fund directors to Congress, Reuters reported today. The move comes as Congress considers several bills promoting reform in the mutual fund industry. Clark & Weinstock will arrange meetings between fund directors and lawmakers.
