Yesterday (September 11),
Yuri Khodjamirian, chief investment officer of
Tema ETFs,
unveiled the launch of the
Tema International Durable Quality ETF (ITOL on the
Cboe BZX). New York City-based Tema ETFs LLC serves as investment advisor to the new fund, while Westport, Connecticut-based
Neos Investment Management LLC serves as subadvisor. (
Neos also
subadvises other Tema ETFs.)
ITOL's inception date was Wednesday (September 10). The new ETF comes with an expense ratio of 60 basis points.
The PM team for ITOL includes two portfolio managers each from Neos and Tema. Those PMs include:
Ryan Houlton, head of trading at Neos;
Garrett Paolella, co-founder and managing partner at Neos;
Hong Yi Chen, investment partner at Tema; and
Khodjamirian himself.
Khodjamirian describes ITOl as "designed to provide investors quality exposure to compelling international opportunities at a time when non-US companies are historically undervalued relative to U.S. ones."
"We believe a quality framework is a prerequisite to international investing, and ITOL leverages the quality investment framework tested by the
TOLL ETF," Khodjamirian states.
ITOL is an actively managed, non-diversified series of
Tema ETF Trust. The new fund's other service providers include:
Cohen & Company, Ltd. as independent accounting firm;
ACA's Foreside Fund Services, LLC as distributor;
Thompson Hine LLP as counsel;
U.S. Bancorp Fund Services, LLC as administrator and transfer agent; and
U.S. Bank, N.A. as custodian.
