An NYSE alumna is joining a Green Mountain State ETF shop.

Maital Legum is being hired by Burlington, Vermont-based
Teucrium [
profile], as head of ETF solutions,
confirm Sal Gilbertie, founder and CEO of Teucrium, and
Springer Harris, president of ETF solutions and chief operation officer at Teucrium. Legum most recently worked with the
NYSE as director of exchange traded products role before exiting last month (as
previously reported).
"This is a new position," a spokesperson for Teucrium tells
MFWire of Legum's new role at Teucrium. The spokesperson adds that Legum started at Teucrium on February 25, working closely with Harris and reporting "into Teucrium's executive team."
"Maital will serve as the lead relationship manager for ETF issuers, quarterbacking all ETF launches and ongoing operations, with a strong focus on delivering an exceptional issuer experience," the spokesperson for Teucrium writes.
"Adding someone of Maital's caliber is a major turning point for us as we continue to build this part of our business," states Gilbertie. "The best ideas need the best people to make them into reality. Maital could not be a better fit and her efforts will no doubt further fuel the momentum we've already built in bringing the industry a new take on what a white label partner can be."

Maital first joined NYSE in 2011. Before then, she previously worked at FTSE. She is an alumna of Yeshiva University and of the University of Maryland.
