The Phoenix Companies has brought on Matthew Schleichkorn as a wholesaler for the Los Angeles region.

Schleichkorn, as senior vice president will work to target advisors and find new distribution for Phoenix's mutual funds and managed accounts. He was previously based out of New York City as a national sales manager for Morgan Stanley.

The role, while not new, has been an "open position for quite some time," said spokeswoman Nicole Laudenslager.
