Genworth Financial has hired away an executive from the Phoenix Companies. Scott Lindquist joined Genworth, where he will serve as a senior vice president and controller.

Lindquist was a senior vice president and chief accounting officer at Phoenix. Prior to that, he was an audit partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Phoenix promoted Katherine Cody to replace Lindquist as senior vice president, treasurer and chief accounting officer.
