Lisa Wesolek, a former managing director at JPMorgan Asset Management, has joined Evergreen Investments for a new position managing institutional asset sales at Evergreen.

Wesolek will be responsible for sales operations, business strategy and implementation. She is based out of Charlotte, North Carolina and reports to Patrick J. O'Brien, president of Evergreen Institutional.

Evergreen also hired Joseph Karpinski of Ernst & Young as a managing director of consultant relations. Karpinski reports to Wesolek.

Karpinski's position had been vacant since late 2004, said Evergreen spokeswoman Dan Flaherty.
