Fidelity intends to take on more than a thousand new workers in Florida over the next four years.
The company's geographic strategy has been a significant area of interest and speculation for the
Boston Globe since the paper got wind of personnel moving to Rhode Island and New Hampshire. According to the latest
report, the company has confirmed it has plans for a customer service call center in Jacksonville, Florida, where an estimated 1200 jobs will be added by 2010. A company spokesperson said plans to expand outside Massachusetts are ongoing.
