Fund firms who are fighting the indy chair rule have an ally in SEC Commissioner Paul Atkins, according to this morning's WSJ Fund Track column. Campos, meanwhile, sits on the other side of the table. In the background The Independent Directors Council sides with Atkins while the Mutual Fund Directors Forum, Morningstar and investor activist groups such as Fund Democracy and Consumer Federation of America take the Campos side.
