Vanguard has embraced XBRL and pending the approval of the SEC , others funds are expected to fall in line. The data tags will be added to the risk summary sections of online prospectuses with the vision of making it easier for investors to get the information they need to select funds intelligently. All considered Ignites thinks that Vanguard can benefit from adopting this technology, and it's that opinion that matters.
