Have fund industry insiders heard the last Tom Bailey? They may have, or maybe not. The Janus founder dropped his last formal tie to the company and gave up his trustee seat on the fund firm's board, reported the The Rocky Mountain News. Janus spokespeople, however, preferred to highlight the fact that Bailey is not gone altogether and still has a good amount of assets invested in the company. Bailey, who is now spending his time training show horses at his 200 acre Iron Rose ranch outside Denver, is number 322 on Forbes' rich list and is remembered for building Janus amid a free spirited culture.
