More mutual funds are giving their customers fee waivers, according to Lipper research. The
WSJ reports that last year, Lipper found that 51 percent of all diversified U.S. stock funds had a fee waiver in place. The number of waivers, which are typical of younger funds, may have gone up, but the amount reimbursed has gone down.
