The SEC will meet next Wednesday, June 20, to discuss allowing the use of data tags for mutual fund disclosure statements, the
WSJ reports. Under the proposed change, funds could use data tags for important information such as the fund's risks, returns, costs and investment objectives and strategies. The commission will also vote on a proposal to allow funds to make proxy-voting materials available online.
