Bear Stearns has picked Steven Begleiter to take on the responsibility of managing the firm's asset management division. The Street.com reports that Begleiter, the head of corporate strategy at Bear, adds this responsibility in light of Warren Spector's departure earlier this week. Management of Bear Stearns Asset Management was previously part of Spector's duties.
