What does a car service company have in common with a tomato farm? The answser is that they are both investments of Fidelity. The Boston Herald reports that Devonshire Investors, Fidelity's private-equity arm, is now the majority owner of Backyard Farms. The farms specializes in vine-ripened tomatos and owns the largest greenhouse in New England.
