Pioneer Investments has appointed
Kenneth Taubes as head of U.S. portfolio management, a company spokeswoman told
The MFWire.
“Ken has done an outstanding job managing the fixed income team in Boston,” said
Marco Pirondini, global chief investment officer of Pioneer Investments said in a release. "Ken’s selection will ensure consistency and stability across the organization"
Taubes was previously director of fixed income for the Boston-based investment management firm, a title that he will retain in addition to his new role. Taubes replaces
Charles Mayer, who retired in December.
As of December 31, 2007, Pioneer had 44 open-ended funds with $311.8 billion of assets globally.
