American Century is realigning its sales force to focus more on institutional sales. The Kansas City Star reports that American Century is cutting 90 jobs related to retail mutual fund sales. The company then plans to add 90 new sales positions in the third-party broker and institutional channels. An American Century told the Star that, “we are in the process of reallocating resources to support an initiative for growth."
