There has been a security breach at State Street affecting customers of the former Investors Bank & Trust Company. According to a messageposted on State Street's website, computer equipment with certain personal data was stolen from a facility of a vendor that IBT had engaged for legal support services. State Street's website assured customers that there is currently no evidence that any of the stolen data has been thus far misused.
