Fidelity laid off some employees in its Merrimack, New Hampshire campus, the New Hampshire Union reports. The cuts mainly affected workers in the Personal and Workplace Investing and Human Resources Services divisions. Fidelity spokeswoman Anne Crowley declined to say how many were laid off, but told the pub that the cuts impacted a relatively small number of Fidelity's 46,000 employees.

Last month Fidelity told an unspecified number of customer service employees at the Merrimack campus that their jobs were being moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. The pub also reports that Fidelity laid off an additional 50 to 100 tech workers from the Merrimack facility earlier this year.
