Oliver Kratz, manager of the $2.1 billion
DWS Scudder Global Thematic Fund. Kratz, who has been at the helm of the fund for nearly five years, focuses on investing based on global themes. The fund chalked up an annualized return of 18.7 percent as of June 3, beating the S&P stock index by 9.5 percentage points.
The Fund Track column also carried a short item on the Fidelity layoffs.
