Janus' founder, Tom Bailey, is making news in his hometown of Carbondale, Colorado. Aspen Daily News reports that Bailey has torn down a a historic house on a potato farm he bought in 2006. The paper talks to the former owners of the property who were dismayed by the loss of the house that had been in their family for a century.

Bailey is no stranger to bad press, having been the subject of a very unflattering Fortune article in 2001. He cut his last ties with the company he founded in May of 2007.
