The
Wall Street Journal's Greg Morcroft devoted the
Friday Fund Track column
to the report cards delivered by
Janus Capital Group and
Franklin Templeton on Thursday. Denver-based Janus saw second quarter earnings rise 36 percent to $66.3 million on revenue of $304.2 million. San Mateo, California-headquartered Franklin, meanwhile, posted a 14 percent drop in profit, earning $403.3 million in its third quarter. Revenue came in at $1.52 billion.
