There's a new sales chief at
John Hancock Funds. A spokesperson for the company confirmed that
Jeff Duckworth has been appointed head of sales at the firm.
Emii.com reports Duckworth takes over for
Arthur Creel, who was appointed to national head of distribution and marketing June 3 of this year, as reported by our sister publication,
The 401kWire. (see 401kWire, June 3, 2008, Separate Login Required)
Creel will now become the head of retirement planning services. The pub says Duckworth was previously the head of sales for Hancock's b-d, RIA and insurance wholesaling team. His replacement will be
Darren Smith, currently head of Hancock's West Coast variable annuities division.
