Edward Kerpius as senior managing director of sales. Kerpius, 45, reports to chairman and chief investment officer
Robert Turner.
Kerpius heads up business development and sales efforts in North America. His post is newly created.
Prior to joining the Berwyn, Pennsylvania-based firm, Kerpius was vice president of sales at Fidelity company

BERWYN, Pa. - (Business Wire) Edward D. Kerpius III has been named senior managing director, sales at Turner Investment Partners, an investment firm that manages more than $26 billion on behalf of institutions and individuals. Turner was founded in 1990 and is headquartered in Berwyn, Pennsylvania.
In this newly created role, Mr. Kerpius, 45, is responsible for leading Turner’s business-development and sales efforts in North America. He works with senior management to design and implement sales plans and set strategic sales goals for the firm’s institutional, managed-account, subadvisory, mutual-fund, and high-net-worth markets. Turner manages core, growth, value, quantitative, and long/short portfolios, including more than 20 major institutional-portfolio composites and 13 domestic and international mutual funds.

Mr. Kerpius reports to Chairman and Chief Investment Officer Robert E. Turner.
Bringing more than 20 years of experience to Turner, Mr. Kerpius most recently served as vice president, sales for BostonCoach Corporation, a Fidelity Investments company that provides limousine, executive-sedan, and event-transportation services.
Mr. Kerpius earned both a bachelor of arts degree in 1985 and an MBA degree in 1987 at Villanova University. He lives in Wayne, Pennsylvania.
As of June 30, 2008, Turner Investment Partners’ assets under management were more than $26 billion.
