Fidelity topped
Corporate Insight's annual list of
Monitor Awards for 2008, winning the most accolades, including 19 Monitor Awards related to its user-friendly website.
Category winners include:
American Funds and
MFS in the advisor category; Fidelity in the e-Monitor category; and Fidelity again in the Mutual Fund Monitor category.
Corporate Insight also singled out Fidelity, MFS and
Charles Schwab for providing customers with timely news and commentary resources, as well as transparency and communication regarding how the firm was fairing in the rough market. Additionally the research firm gave
DWS Investments kudos for using its new website to gain a large advisor following.
The Monitor awards recognize financial services firms providing the best Web offerings in several categories. Award categories for 2008 included online help resources, transactional capabilities, account applications and client messaging during market turmoil.
