Fidelity's long-term assets declined by 4.9 percent to
$521 billion at end-March,
Bloomberg reports, citing numbers
from Mercatus' Financial Research Corp. The data does not
include assets in money-market funds.
Meanwhile, Vanguard and American Funds saw increases of
91 percent and 142 percent, respectively.
Fidelity saw its share of the market drop from 14.4 percent to 9.9 percent.
