More Fidelity rumors are circulating. Reuters' Ross Kerber reports that, according to an off-the-record source, Fido is searching for a new investment operations chief. It's unclear how the position relates to the top operations exec search previously reported on by MFWire (see MFWire, 4/17/2009).

Fidelity has already made a number of top investment exec changes so far in 2009. Brian Hogan took over the equity division last month, while Chris Sullivan took over the bond group in March (see MFWire, 3/22/2009 and 4/23/2009). And Anthony Ryan joined in February to lead asset management strategy and product development (see MFWire, 2/13/2009).
