Fidelity has decided not to sell its Indian back-office business after all, the Economic Times reports. The unit was first rumored to be for sale in December of 2008. (see MFWire 12/15/09)

A spokesperson for Fidelity told the pub, "After an intense review and thorough evaluation, it was decided that we will maintain the FMR India IT organization at this time. It continues to be business as usual for FMR India.”
