Janus is beefing up its Canadian operation. The Denver Business Journal reports that the Denver-based fund firm is expanding its distribution network in our neighbor to the north, with Janus Global Advisors executive director Mark Baltimore at the helm of the effort.

"Canada is a mature market and we believe the strong long-term relative performance of many of our investment strategies will help differentiate Janus from the competition," stated Rob Watson, senior vice president and managing director of global business development.
