A financial engineering firm annouced Tuesday that its portfolio visualization process has been awarded a patent. Gravity Investment's three-dimensional diversification platform aims to provide advanced optimization with a sales and marketing slant.

James Damschroder, founder of Gravity Investments, noted that "The three-dimensional projection of a portfolio allows any investor seeking to create a balanced portfolio to analyze the interrelationships of portfolio holdings in a way never before possible."
