MFS Investment Management gathered journalists representing some of the nation's prominent media outlets for a chat about the investing outlook for the rest of 2009. Reporters from Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, CNN Money Unit and Reuters were among those on the line for the conference call.

The firm's chief investment strategist Jim Swanson gave his insight on the economic conditions of today, historically and in the future. He also answered questions from the media, which called attention to the positive outlook he had for his company's funds and for the economy as a whole.
